This photo popped up on my FB feed. Pretty cool looking rifle. The hand guard is the piece I am interested in. It clamps to the barrel nut. It is designed in a way that the factory sights are still usable. Obviously the barrel couldn’t be packed in the original stock without removing this hand guard. I only use my rifle at the range and I think the hand guard would make it a little more enjoyable.

I am on the fence about the pistol grip and adapter. I would have to get some sort of buttstock to go with it. The little buttstock extension on the rifle in the photo is a Canada legal thing to make sure the rifle remains the required minimum length with the pistol grip.

The rifle has a replacement front sight with a hood. People often complain about the front sight on the Henry. I had an idea in my head to improve the front sight. I contacted Tommy Enterprises with my idea and got a response in a couple of hours. He is going to try to prototype one. Once I know if the sight is going to work or not I will order the hand guard and hopefully a new sight.

That looks pretty good but I'd want more of a Stock, maybe a Wire one that could collapse sorta like the Israeli variant ? I have both the Original Armalite and a Henry. They're both fairly accurate with the 'peep tab-sight' but something to dial in better would be appreciated, too. I can get 'groups' of about 1-inch at 25 using Rem Golden HVHP. Neither rifle will 'reliability' cycle with SV unfortunately. I got a 'deal' on the R-G a couple years ago and bought a couple thousand for $7/100, so a lifetime supply since I'm 75 in a couple weeks.
