Hello All, first post here. I absolutely love the toggle action but I don't want to fork out the cash for a nice one. I saw the Hammerli from shot show and I'd love to hear what you think of it from anyone who has laid hands on it.
I'm specifically interested in the accuracy of them.

Thanks guys, love this forum so far, just found it an hour ago and you guys rock! Just got banned from FB for selling reloading dies.

Welcome to Rimfire Central Bendr!

Kind of mixed reviews so far. I was excited to see the Hammerli name on a .22 rifle at a reasonable price but after reading reviews like the one below I think I'll hold off for awhile till I see how the early adopters feel about them after giving them a good wringing out.

That web site is pretty sparse, IMO. Clearly, they didn't want to waste any $$$ on web design. 😕

As I'm sure you know, Hammerli has a rep for accuracy. They made the Trailside model for Sig for several years.

Not sure why this is in the Walther forum? Does Walther own them now?

Indeed, walther does appear to own them now, I had emailed them a bit and they claim to be coming out with a precision barrel soon as well as caliber change barrels.

After seeing what people ha e to say about them so far I just got a heck of a deal on a 457 jaguar, I'll wait to see reviews on their "precision" model before I spend any money on something that may have absolutely no aftermarket support.
