H001 Magnum Ammo

Howdy,

I'm loving my H001 Magnum. Shot it a few times since getting it and it's been accurate and reliable as one might expect. I'm just using a 6 O'clock hold to deal with her shooting a little high.

Today I had my first and only malfunction. And I think I can blame the ammo. I opened a brand-new box of Aguila .22 mag and had a failure to extract several times, maybe once every five to ten rounds. Thankfully, I was able to carefully push the next round down into the magazine while gently nudging the fired case out of the chamber. Speaking of chambers, the rifle was clean.

The cases have a silver color, so I wonder if they are aluminum or possible nickel-plated brass? It doesn't say aluminum on the package.

I also brought a box of CCI ammo with me. Every round fired perfectly and extracted correctly. On a side note, this rifle ejects cases in a pile on the bench! It's so cool. All I do to clean up my brass is grab a handful off the bench now and then.

Seeking the simplest solution, I will probably just avoid the Aguila in this rifle.

I am just wondering if anyone else has noticed any issues.

Thanks!
