I don't know about gunsmithing, but the Gun Room's firearms prices are 50 - 100% higher than other local shops. I bought a CZ Scout locally several years ago for $219 at Keith's Sporting Goods - the Gun Room was asking $350 for the exact same rifle and was firm on the price. I also have found their service to be somewhat disdainful and prefer to shop elsewhere.Gotoguy said:
I took my old 511 to The Power Horn in Forest Grove (used to be in Hillsboro) for a tuneup and function check. They did a nice job and showed a genuine appreciation of the old gal.
