Howdy friend, from N. Georgia! How does that GSG shoot? How much is ammo over there? Is it hard to get?

Howdy! The GSG is a bit of a pig, currently. It seems to be a little ammo fussy - I was having trouble with what seemed to be light strikes when I was using Eley in it, so I thought the gun was kaput, but I've recently tried CCI minimag and it ran like a sewing machine (though with somewhat poorer accuracy).

Ammo is of course brand dependent. Minimags are currently around £13 per 100 ($16-$17?). Other brands tend to run £5-£8 per 50. I think when I first started shooting in the late 00s, my university rifle club used to sell a box of 50 for £3, which seemed pricy at the time, but that seems to be the way the world is going.
