Welcome west Texas, I'm an old timer here that had been gone for a decade or more and recently came back. I had hailed from Lubbock with Stephenville and Granbury before that. I do miss that giant playground that is Texas, but that's a story for another time so I bask myself in the Florida sunshine (I know it's weird but I also miss the snow and ice up on the Caprock during the cold months.) Lots of good knowledgeable folks around, some will know more about those old single shots I'm sure. Handled a few old heavy barrel Mossburgs from the 40s if I recall but that was in the late 80s. Had a couple guys with Winchester 52s with large Unertl scopes that used to shoot with us back then as well. Kick yourself around the site, you should enjoy!
