OH MY GOD. I only have 80 through it so far...i sighted in in like 6 shots and just had some fun. I am going to shoot it a ton tomorrow clean it and run some more Sunday. Just need to find more extended mag bases since im on 2 mags atm with 4 more ready to mod as stock plastic bases dont fit. I might cut sand the lip off the front of the plastic stock base should work then but that sounds like work instead of shooting! I like this one since i tend to have some wild paintjobs this is more 'mature'. That makes one of the two of us at least....

day 2 range report, just doing drills on roundabout SCSA stage I have currently setup at home. I leave this one up alot, as its compact and can be shot in various orders. up to 199 rounds total now, only one today didnt shuck properly as first round and got put aside after it tossed fine with a rerack.. Not a huge deal since it be a 'no' at 'are you ready' or run with 9 rds.. and it ran like a top otherwise.

Did it 3x yesterday on first 4 mags first shot only so seems to be ironing out, makes sense it was a tiny bit picky since these seem pretty tight. Broke in safety with flicks every mag today, parts seem to find their friendship pretty fast. Still getting used to the angle difference from my ruger and the holsun comp vs cmore slideride. Muzzle break has nice used look to it now.

Will run another 100 ish tomorrow then clean as the manual says. i am only running MM solids did not experiement with anything else and may never, so not much to say ammo wise other then MM work great so far.

Wont get to it during week and have a match Saturday will probably run my ruger but might take the risk after 300rd and a clean since its a club t1 match just having fun, if mag basepads arrive. Being stuck with just 2 mags right now is annoying. Once im set, ruger is going to irons to see if i still like/can run irons. I can see myself getting another one of these CWAs though someday.

Good range report, glad to see it is running well. Definitely need to get you a few more mags, they are easy to find and I ordered extra bases from Chet so there were all the same and work well with the magwell. I have never used anything but Mini Mags, but if you do try something else will be interesting to see how they run. I use MMs in a bunch of guns so always have a good stock of them. Be careful, you will have a second one before you know it.

Day 3 with the pistol, got to the 300 round count (really 279) and cleaned it. Got Roundabout done in 2.20sec which was nice, still getting used to the angle and the 507comp but first shot speed is coming back.

Had to clean off and lube the take down pin since slide stop got iffy actuating on last 3 mags. I could have kept going since it just be a like a no slide stop 2011 but i figured its ready.... Its fine now after cleaning. I boretech carbon mopped the barrel and left a swab where any carbon ring might want to grow then patched it clean. It wasn't bad and looked like it could have done 300 more.

Found where it likes to spit on the sight frame mount, makes sense since it nice and low. Race guns dont get to stay perfect after all. Brake cleaned up pretty easy as well.

Running it a bit on the wet side on the rails at least with a bit of oil for the bushing and rest dri lube as needed. I'll probably cut that back a tad bit at next cleaning. Rails are nice and shiny now.

Its like cleaning a 2011 , yet tiny and endearing. Took more time then an MKIV but i had that assumption going in.

im at about 460 rounds now, the two hurricane stuff slowed me down.

Im not getting slide lock back anymore with 6 different mags. tried a 10lb spring today with no change. I don't really care as i don't need lockback, but if i can make something 100% i try. 10lb spring has less muzzle dip then 12lb not sure which one i like better. im running 40gr solid MM. Any preferences you have on the 5" with break? The pistol is fantastic, did 2.20 in roundabout in practice (give me a break i know im slow :) ).

Going to shoot about 60-100 each of the next 2 days then clean it again, got a match 10/26 so ill have the round count through. Other then the lockback nuance its had zero failures.

Safety broke in nice and smooth.

First match with it yesterday and my second scsa match ever. came in 3rd rfpo behind two GMs that I knew I'd be far behind as one intro'ed me into the sport and he's fast!

Roundabout saved my overall score , I was meh otherwise. Cwa ran great all day. Better gun then I need right now but I can grow into it. I took my Ruger as a backup which I didn't need.

Had a great time at a really nice range super nice people all around , safe and run well.

Really digging that part btw, I've had some interesting situations in other disciplines with the attitudes over the last decade or so.

Thanks. After reading your post, Google found an NRA review and reading that now on another screen. Chet Whistle.

Here they are:

I got a problem on my computer the writing on the website is faint grey color. That is Ok, I am not buying, just looking. In this case looking is not reading.
