That's the kind of groups I'm hoping for when my T1X shows up.

 

Not uncommon at all if you find the ammo your rifle likes. I'm more curious where did @StandingTall find SK Rifle Match, they seem to be white elephants at least over last year.

I shot a t1x for the first time yesterday with some of my pops friends doing some ladder drills. I think I want one too!

 

I sent my scope to be repaired. I'm looking forward to shooting it some more.

 

My T1X MTR arrived this afternoon. Installed a EGW rail and a Arken SH4J. Off to the range tomorrow afternoon, will report back.

 

Mine is so accurate I realized my scope isn't tracking accurately. Lol

 

I took it to the range. The trigger is great, I just ran the adjusting screw all the lay out, light and crisp. The fore end is very skinny, it made it tippy in the front rest. I ran 50 rounds of Norma Match, then shot some groups, all groups are 50 yards 10 shot. The top row is Norma Match, then SK Pistol Match, the rest SK Rifle Match.

 

I think you'll find a good bipod will help with the tippy thing

 

New T1X owner as well. Just spent $144 on test match ammo so hopefully identify my barrel's consistency likes. Got a MDT 30 MOA rail coming and the MDT ORYX chassis. My gun club just completed a gorgeous 400 yd all steel range with distances at 100 / 200 /300 /400 .

I'd almost be wiling to bet that, unless the others are really good lots, SK RM or Lapua PK will shoot the best.

 

What would be a good bipod? Not to get off track, too far.

 

For a regular bipod (not F-class) I like the Atlas.

Yeah they're pricey and you need picatinny to sling stud adapter (Amazon) but they're worth it. I got a deal from our classifieds on a upgraded version of the one linked above. So you might want to post a WTB ad and see what's available

If you want to mount directly to the sling swivel stud then the Harris is always a decent choice

 

Tested some Eley ammo today. 50 yards all 10 shot groups. I did not use the benchrest positions at the range as I wanted to do some prone shooting. The regular benches are not as stable. A few flyers were my fault. The top row is Club, then Match followed by Bullseye. Looks like Match is the winner.

Why do I often see people saying the flyers are their fault?

 

Calling your shots. I was watching down the scope. I can tell when I moved the shot, I can also tell when it end up somewhere I was not expecting.
