If you have a 1377 with a plastic breech then get one of crosmans steel breeches. Then you can buy a williams site and mount it on the scope grooves. As far as a scope recommendation, I've always liked the Bushnell Trophy 4-12x40 for hunting on my airguns.

Stock sights are not too bad.Williams click adjust or the LPA Mim are way better.I have the Williams click adjust on my 1377[William peep on my 392] and its very good.See if you can find a 1377 fiber optic front sight or buy a longer bbl and get a 2289 fiber optic sight and bbl band.
I've also seen these chinese sights used to good effect.Plus TC Encore sights are used also,I'm still researching those.

The Williams and Chinese will work on a Crosman[steel],RjMachine or Crookedbarn breech as long as they are full dovetail.
LPA Mim will only work on the Crosman[steel].Dont forget to recrown the bbl too.None of these'll work on the stock plastic breech[bummer!].

Just an " FYI ",

I had a Williams sight on my pistol, but my eyesight just isn't what it is to be .. !

So, I decided to mount a low powered Pistol scope (2x20 Millet Scope; MidwayUSA) on my " Mountain Air 1325 Hunting Pistol "

I haven't been down to the Pistol Range " YET ", to sightin & test it on my imitation small game " Bowling Pins "
