are blossoming like flowers in our area, about $100 variance in price depending on where you look, I'm on the cheap list. ;)

Ah, the shipments have come in.

I'm awaiting Remington to ship me a new R51 to replace the less than acceptable one I sent back to them in September 2014. :bonk:

I'm hoping to sell it and get at least $300 for it and use that for a G43. I'm probably being optimistic about the value of the R51, though.

I'm in no hurry but the list I'm on has it priced within $40 of current 42 prices here so when mine shows I'll take it. I took a chance on a the first 17, first 19, 26, 22, 23, 27, 21, 30 and a couple of others, haven't gotten a bad one yet.

Home

It is home, and its first words were Quack Quack, Yep, NOT praying for rain
around here. Range is on the list of TO DOs after I grow web feet and learn to quack.
Paid $469.00. and tax.
Feels just like a 42 to me. Ordered the new TFX sights!
No doubt this is a keeper, may replace my PM9 for daily carry.
Of course I've been a Glockaholic for a while now!
17, 19, 26x2, 34, and now 43. Can you tell I am into 9's?
Hot DaXX! I am into this one.
Best of luck in your hunts for one, you will like it.
Have a Great weekend.

Another Glockaholic here, I got to handle and shoot a Glock 43 today. I think this pistol was made to fit my hand, shoots great. I shot some +P+ WW 115 JHP in it and the recoil is still less than my Glock 27 shooting 180 grain Federal HST or WW Ranger JHP.

No doubt about it I'm ordering a Glock 43 as soon as they start releasing them with factory night sights. I've been carrying a Glock 27 since 1999 when my department switched from Gen 3 S& W to Glock 22's. I bought a Glock 42 last year that I occasionally carry. Since I'm retired I'll probably carry the Glock 43 most of the time but I'm keeping my Glock 42 for occasional use.

Rain stopped!

I went straight to the range. Took Mr 43 and Mr PM9.
The 43 out shot the PM9!!!!!
I shot 5 different ammos., 1. Blazer 115, 2. Atlanta Arms 147 Match, 3. Gold Dot 115 (standard). 4. Ranger 124 +P, and 5. Crit. Duty 135 +P.
The edge goes to the 43, it was better in all areas EXCEPT TRIGGER.
The feel of the 43 trigger is not good, crappy, bad, and to thin feeling.
It is because of the safety trigger, and it being thin.
Now the good stuff: Accuracy , well to beat a PM9 is all you need to say.
Control: Not near the problem I had expected. Very easy to handle.
Reliability: It is a Glock!
The 43 will be the IWB carry for me and the PM9 the pocket.
The 26 will be the OWB with the Pearce #39 +3 extension.
Glock on America!!!

Seems to be the boon right now. Most folks I've heard giving range reports really like the G43 and some of them are not even Glock fans. Personally, I figure it might be worth a try, but not for more than $400. I've been shooting and carrying Glocks for over 15 years, and to be honest, this one's not that attractive to me. I'll wait for the used market to try one. Give it six months just like the G42's to start being unloaded.
