Going to use Dremel tool with polishing wheels to polish factory trigger parts on a new Ruger 22/45 (10150)...to see how trigger improves, before I buy the Volquartsen kit. I cannot find any Flitz. Will Brasso work?

Ok, you could polish some parts of the disconnector bar and the exposed section of the hammer bushing but with a dremel you could round over some edges. Be careful not to over polish. This may make the take up smoother but it will not lighten the pull.

This work is not like watching the $.25 polishing videos for Glocks on YouTube. Don't touch the hammer or sear. Detailed polishing and adjustments to the hammer or sear needs experience working with stones/jigs. Replacing the stock sear with the Volquartsen will reduce the pull, but the break will feel like it "rolls". I leave all the stock springs intact which has yielded about a 2.5 lb pull. I think this will be fine to most home gun smiths. A more refined trigger will require a gunsmith.
