I like the Eley ammo, but for semi-autos it might not be a first choice. Subsonic ammo comes in two flavors, one is closer to 1025 fps and another is closer to 1070 fps. The Eley subsonic is closer to 1025 which reduces the odds of cycling reliably in semi autos. The Remington and CCI subsonic may be a better first choice. The best choice may be CCI LR Standard Velocity. Not too loud but enough steam to cycle my semi-autos. Plus the price is modest.
THERE IS AN AGUILA SUBSONIC WITH 40 GR BULLET AT AN ADVERTISED VELOCITY OF 980 FT/SEC THAT CYCLES MY 10/22 AND MARLIN 60 JUST FINE. BEST AMMO IN MEXICO FOR SHOOTING GROUPS. BETTER THAN THE AGUILA MATCH.
THEN THERE IS AN AGUILA SNIPER SUBSONIC WITH 60GR. BULLET @ 1025 FT/SEC. THAT ALSO CYCLES MY 10/22 AND MARLIN 60.
ONE HELL OF A PERFORMER IN RABBITS.
THATS ABOUT THE ONLY SUBSONIC AMMO I´VE TRIED.
REGARDS
JUAN K.
