Is the biathlon (EPS) as good as the match Eps? I bought some and my source did't have any eps left. How accurate is it and is it temperature sensitive? Bill:Blasting_

I was told once the only difference was the lube to be more efficient in the colder weather. But in looking at their new offerings not sure that is the case as they say to use the Tennex. http://www.eley.co.uk/ammunition/disciplines/biathlon.aspx

As you know every gun-barrel is different.
I have tested various lots of both Red box,Black box,And Biathlon.
Biathlon has shot mediocer in two of my guns,when compared to Black box.
But in my Anshutz it performs better than any other ammo that I have tested.
I guess there is no correct answer to your question other than it is high quality and very uniforme..

ive only tested biathlon sport in my cz452 varmint at 25yards. but when the barrel was cold it shot one hole. as the barrel heated up the groups spread.
