I have heard stories of shooters selling 3 or 4 guns to buy Cooper Rifles , well mine is the opposite.
I bought an almost unused Cooper 57M varminter .17 HMR last fall .
After mounting a Leupold VX3i 8.5 - 25 x50 , adjusting the trigger to 300gr then hitting the Range ( Once ).
I proceded to sell my CZ 455 Evolution , 455 Canadian , 457 MTR and lastly Sako P94S .

I am now shopping for a Cooper LVT in .22 lr.

I sold a CZ455 Varmint and a BSA Martini Int'l Mk II to buy a Cooper 57M JSR I 22 lr. and I am reqlly happy with it.
When I got to selling four scopes and a tuner also went to new homes.
I mounted a Leupold 36X BR on it and used it during the winter for 100 Metre Rimfire. All that ended just after our 100 Metre Rimfire Provincials with COVID-19.

I sold a Remington 541S, a 1969 era Browning T-2 T-bolt I'd bought new and Browning Auto .22 to buy my Cooper 57M Classic Sporter .22LR. That was about 15 years ago, and within short order I had a matching Sporter in .17 HMR. They are both very accurate and will stay with me. I've added a CZ switch-barrel 455 Sporter and a beautiful 10-22 custom sporter but the Coopers still rule.

Sell whatever you need to buy any quality firearm is good advice👍
I sold 4 or 5 guns to buy my first Cooper 57M .22 custom classic, one of the most beautiful and accurate rifle I own next to my model 36 custom classic I tracked down after buying my first Cooper😁
Great guns , just waiting for my next Cooper find!

I arrived at the range one afternoon just in time to watch another member slam car doors and drive off with gravel flying. I asked another guy at the range what was up.It seemed that he was shooting a cooper with a high end scope and ammo. The guy next to him was shooting a 10-22 with a 2x7 scope and Federson barrel. The cooper had two flyers and the 10-22 blew out the 10 ring. When the cooper guy saw the two targets he put his gear away and threw his tantrum. I tend to believe it was the shooter and not the rifle.

Probably one of the two things that cause inaccuracy in shooting . . .
1). The Nut that holds the gun, or
2). The jerk that pulls the trigger

In his case the "or" should be replaced with AND!

It is a real bugger when you have no one to get mad at but yourself . . . oh well he is the one who has to live with it . . . pity his poor wife if he abuses her like he does himself!

Couple years ago a bought a JSR. All excited to get to the range. Shot poorly. Very disappointed. Went home with plan to adjust trigger. Found action screws loose. Torqued to spec and went back to range. Shot very good. Happy with it now. Simple fix for me. How did they shoot the one hole test target?

I first saw one of these Cooper Mdl 57m LVT rifles 20 years ago at one of my Collector gun shows. Unfortunately, I didn't have the funds available at the time to make it mine, but I never forgot it. Such is life:)

Fast forward to 2020 and I found my rifle and I had the available funds to make it happen, so here is my newest acquisition:

I've fondled it a lot, but I've not had an opportuntity to take it to the range, but have high hopes.
So far the only problem was that some previous owner had disassembled the mag and reversed the mag floor plate on reassembly so that it didn't feed well and didn't latch correctly. A few minutes and all was as it should be.
