Did Brownells drop Wisner magazines?

I have a bunch of Wisner 65-142 magazines for my Anschutz rifles. And they work great in every rifle I own. Unfortunately the OEM mags with the polymer bottom don't drop well from a couple of custom fiberglass silhouette rifles. So I wanted to get a bunch more to pre-load for matches and practice. I ordered 8 from Brownells maybe 2-3 years ago, and I can't find a Wisner product on their webpage. So did they drop Wisner?

The Savage mags from Brownells work in Anschutz and Coopers with minimal mods. Oops, just checked and as mentioned earlier they dont show up on Brownells. Go directly to Wisners and get their 5 shot mag that you are currently using.

This is the mag you need

Below, left is Anschutz, middle is Savage mag with bottom I made for a Cooper but I now use it in My Anschutz, Right is factory Wisner with slight mod

Wisner has them listed for 20.00 a pop. Not a bad price. I think they were 18 or so from Brownells a few years ago using a discount code.
I file off the rear tit on the mags in a few file strokes, and they work in all my rifles. Like I said, for some reason I have a Pharr 54MSR, and a Wooster 1712, and the trigger
guard/mag wells are tight and the base pad on an OEM mag drags, and the mags are tough to remove because they are recessed. Funny but both of those rifles are very well built, and both are tack drivers. Why the custom mag wells are so tight I don't know. I even have a Savage mag with a yellow knockoff base pad that drags too.
For me the solution is a bunch-o cool Savage mags.

LOL, was going to post the same link you just found. Good luck. Why does their tag say not for use in Anschutz?

BTW, I wrote a little mag fitment issue thread a while back. I found both the tabs on the back of the magazine (10 round length), or just the width (front to back) of the magazines was dragging in three different biathlon rifles. A mag might work fine in one rifle, but then not in another. Mostly it was those tabs. if they stick up to far. But a magazine or two was just to wide and you could tell by where all the wear was at. A little fitting takes care of it.

I modified three with limited success. The biggest problem was trying to get it to lock into place as it always seemed to be too low to pick up the next round.
When the bottom plastic on an Anschutz mag broke, the base of a Wisner was used.
Next time I am going to try using the metal follower.

I got 6 new mags in the mail. I quickly taped off until the first tick mark on the side of the mag, about where the ribbing on the side of the mag ends. I file until I remove some bluing from the body. That is rough enough of a guide to get it done. All 6 worked fine after the file. They were 20 bucks a pop, and 8 bucks shipping direct from Wisner.
