Just bought my first CZ!
It's a 457 Varmint MTR and I need some extra magazines for it. I'd been looking for an MTR for a while with no luck, so I just recently bought a Bergara B-14 R Trainer to shoot our club matches. Of course I haven't even paid off the credit card statement for the Bergara when the MTR became available. Now I'll be running them against each other and have to make a decision about which to compete with. Should be fun!
My questions are should I buy polymer or steel mags, and also, do both the 5 rd and 10 rd mags feed equally reliably? I did a search and read quite a few posts but didn't find a clear answer. It seems like some prefer the poly mags because they are lighter and insert more easily, while others like the steel mostly because it is steel and feels better to them. Also, I assume that both the 5 and 10 rd mags feed reliably. Is that a good assumption? After all it's hardly like stuffing that last round in a 30 rd AR mag and having trouble with some of my mags feeding.
Appreciate all comments including best mag sources. I've learned a lot hanging around here already (but it has been a little hard on my wallet)!
