My Whidden 457 Bartlein barrel arrived today.

I will say that the customer service at Whidden is incredible.
They put up with my panicked self when USPS took (11) days to arrive seemingly lost then magically reappeared in transit.
Nothing to do with them just our horrible postal service these days.

The Bartlein barrel looks incredible which my crappy photos do not do it justice.
I listened to all of you and put the barrel in a used Varmint stock instead of possibly damaging the Lux stock.
Will hopefully have some group results Monday to share.
The Criterion I also ordered should be out next week as well.
I am excited and will do a comparison between them with the same lot numbers of a variety of SK, Lapua and Eley as promised.

I wish I had that varmint stock! Mine is plain Jane. I have a muller barrel and a pile of goodies to put it together but I’ve just been lazy or away at work. Have a mk5 leupold in bound for it. Very curious how your barrels shoot. Seems that just about anything that comes from whidden shoots well. Very nice looking rifle!
