CZ 457 Ejector Issues

In an act, that I still can not explain, last week, I broke the plastic ejector rib on the mag well filler block on my CZ 457 Synthetic #2. I cycled the bolt, the casing came flinging out as usual, then the next round, it extracted perfectly, then round just hung there. I look in the ejection port and could see the jagged edge of the broken ejector rib. I was not a happy camper, a bad thing when late at night, with a slow burn happening, a laptop and a credit card.

I found that DIP makes an aluminum mag well filler block, with my anger, I ordered enough of them to replace all of the blocks in all of my CZ 457s. Welp, they arrived today, it was about a 5 minute job per rifle to replace the the blocks. That was done while the Perils of Nyoka serial played in the background and the cat slept in the recliner. It is a dreary cold windy rainy day in CNY and I had no plans to go outside. Except for the trip to the trash bin and the mail box, I really should go to the mail box first, a large percentage of the mail, goes directly into the trash.

I have no idea what broke it, right up to the time in broke it was functioning perfectly, then nothing. Attached it the picture I took of the bad block on the right and a normal block on the left.

I believe that the ejector is part of the steel insert in the bottom of the action. When you remove the mag well, the longer bolt that is on the slotted side of the magwell holds in this plate with the ejector. I had to remove this and the trigger bolt to adjust my Jard trigger, you can't get the allen key in to adjust the sear with the bolts in place. The ejector plate looks to be part of the raceway for the bolt as well. If you take it out..... or it falls out..... it's a bugger to get it back in!!
I'm basing this off the ejector in the Bergara B14r which many stake in place. The plate I'm talking about on the CZ has the "lump" ie , ejector as part of this bottom plate located under the mag well.
