Sorry, but I could not find this info any where. I have a pair of 455 FS's; one in 22 lr,
and one in 22 wmr. The triggers are pretty good in both rifles. However, being a natural tinkerer, i'd like to know how to adjust the trigger. I don't want to mess anything up, so that's why i'm asking. Is the trigger pull lightened by screwing the adjustment nut up towards the bolt, or down towards the trigger tip ?? I get a little anal messing around with unfamiliar items.
Thanks for any help, and sorry if this is a stupid question.

I've put lighter trigger springs in a couple of dozen 455's, usually that is all that most want for improvement, don't seem to have the "creep" problems with the 455's that 452's have. YMMV

161-A or 160-A compression spring are usually as light as most owners want to go.
