Short answer is "No".

 

I am no expert, by any means..........but have been a big admirer of the Woodsman all my life. I've never heard of on "in the white!"

 

I have only seen one that was nickeled. It was a MT 1st series. If the Woodsman in question was bare steel someone could have prepped it to blue but never did. I had this one parkerized eons ago.

 

No, I've never heard of a Woodsman in the white. Now, one time I owned a 4 inch bbl Match Target that just about all of the bluing was gone, was very well used. I sold it rather quickly and I've regretted that several times.

 

I think you all convinced me to revisit the lgs, take a better look at it, and make an offer if it works.

 

Looking forward to seeing your possible purchase. I am drawn to Woodsman mutts as opposed to minty collectibles. They are all great .22s. Good luck.

 

I only have one series 3 Woodsman Match Target w/6" bull barrel. That being said, over the years I have seen piles of the Woodsman. I have never seen a white one ever. Still might be worth the purchase depending on the price I guess. If the metal is good underneath it might be worth rebluing. What model are you looking at? I would bore scope it before buying and if they well let you shoot it, even better.
