as mentioned, check out your fav gun auction/selling sites.

also note that where you or they live may make on the difference and what's "hot" at the moment or not.

As condition/completeness will make a difference too along with how bad someone wants it.

and you may find that if yours is CC and there are those that case the "wood" lottery, which isnt much different, some may bid/pay more for a nice CC vs one thats faded/patina or black.

And then there's how much exposure you get too. If you live in a 1 cow town and there are more cows than residences, your shop may not get that many customers or customers with money. If you want to maximize your selling price, do it online and to a broader audience.

I've sold most of mine off and only have a handful. Those will go eventually too.

Condition is Everything, and with Original box and papers even better. You will find a cheap one in excellent condition when a Unicorn delivers it.
If you are looking plan to pay more than you want to, but you will Have it.
If you are selling start high, you can always come down....and you will know when.

I bought all three of mine at gun shows the last few years, The color case New Frontier with adjustable sights was $400 and the other two were $300. No boxes. The Buntline was a first year .22 mag only and had rust patches on the barrel. The other two had both .22lr and .22 Mag cylinders. I think I got good deals but hardly ever see them at gun shows.

Great little shooters, Peacemakers bring way more than New Frontiers because they resemble Model P.

New Frontiers excellent in box $600-$700
Peacemaker excellent in box $800-$1000

Early yellow box command highest.

Cheapest New Frontier I saw online last few years $400 no box

Cheapest Peacemaker $ 550 no box

My son wants a revolver. He’s not getting my little nickel plated Scout that I’ve had for about forty years. I was waiting on some bullets to come up at auction last week and a pretty nice New Frontier came up so I threw a $300 bid at it. It had been sitting at $175 for a couple days prior to the auction going live. No box and just one cylinder in 22 LR, but in nice shape. I surely didn’t expect to win it for that but the auction was moving at a fast pace and when he ask for $250 and didn’t get an immediate bid… going once, going twice and I think he’s going to be pretty pleased. What he really wanted is a Buntline, but beggars can’t be choosers.

He will be thrilled with any revolver and in particular a Buntline. I’m partial to the Colts, but have Rugers too. I’m quite sure he will be as pleased as can be, but am going to keep my eyes open for a Colt or Ruger Buntline. I found out about the Buntline aspect of this revolver fascination just recently.

Bass Pro had one in their used gun case. He was all about it, but it was a brand H. It took some convincing that he didn’t need the sort of trouble they end up being. I told him that a Colt or Ruger will show up sooner or later. I’m a shorter barrel revolver guy, if/when he gets his Buntline I can fake like it is my all time favorite ever too.

Once he got to handle it in the flesh I haven’t heard anything more about buntline. He is getting ready to bring it home in a couple of weeks, setting up a shrine that has my his Pachmeyer range box as a center piece right now. The guy behind the counter was having a really great time. There was a 16 year old girl next to is with her father filling out paperwork for a half nickel Henry in 22LR.

i have a couple Balscopes that I think should fit the range box. If not I have a Leupold Gold Ring 20 power poro prism scope in the safe that I know will fit.
