Sliding over the end of 15 rounds however many times this occurred throughout the lifetime of this rifle marred the end of the feed tube.
I cleaned it up and had a bevel inside that may or may not do squat for it, but it is better off than it was and took all of 2 minutes.
Covered plunger with old case. Pushed it down and used a 45° stone (rougher than I wanted, but others were too small), turned it a few times for clean up, and then polished with 1500 grit. Simple, easy, and fast.
