Christensen Arms Ranger stiff to close bolt??

I have a new Christensen Arms Ranger that I haven’t even shot yet. I see threads here complaining about a loose bolt. Mine is the opposite, its really stiff to lock down.

I haven’t contacted CA yet or tried to shoot it, just thought I’d see what I could find out here.

My complaint wasn't the bolt being loose, but the bolt handle being a loose fit in the bolt. I never bothered sending it back to Christensen to see it they could make it better. It's not as smooth as my CZ's to lock down, probably because the Ranger doesn't have the taper in the action to help it force the bolt into battery.

Mine also is not the slickest to cycle compared to my other BA rimfires. It's not terrible, though. I think it's at least partly due to the Ruger magazine design. When I work the bolt with the magazine removed it feels much nicer. One of these days I will do some work on a magazine to see if I can improve it.
