Charger Ammo - What to use?

I have a fairly stock Charger with a Kidd trigger and mag release. The rest is stock. Mine seems to like Eley Club as we as anything. What ammo seems to work best for everyone else?

My Chargers are a tad more Ruger than Iowa Fox's, but they aren't very picky. CCI SV, Norma Tac, Aguila red and blue boxes all give quite acceptable results. Haven't run any Eley or Lapua through a Charger yet, maybe later this spring.
Load up some mags with what's available and do your own testing.

I will do my own. Actually have done it with several different SV's. What I was looking for was what works best for y'all. Perhaps find something new to try. I have several versions of Eley, SK, and Lapua as well as CCI. Tried Aquila in my CZ's and my 10-22 (all Kidd except the receiver). Nothing seems to like it but I other posters with a different experience.
I've been around 22lr for more than 60 years and if there is one thing I've learned, it's that 22 rimfire's like what they like and it's up to the shooter to discover what that is.
Thanks for your reply.

All you can do with a factory charger is load up a few rounds and give it a try.

I was lucky. Years ago a friend pulled out his PiCuda and I watched him shoot to 400 yards. He taught me what it takes to make these things shoot to their potential. That's what got me started down this charger rabbit hole.

Mine is full factory set up 10 inch barrel with a VQ hammer...It lives off a steady diet of Aquila Standard Velocity and of course CCI Standard..It is shot suppressed 100% of the time..
Have a Sig red dot at AR height for the optic...With that set up I regularly hit a 4 inch gong and a life size squirrel target braced up against a tree for support at 45 yards..

Why I have not squirrel hunted with this thing is beyond me but maybe this year...

rimfires are all pretty much the same when it comes down to ammunition preference....you have to try as many different types as you can get your hands on, and let the firearm choose what it likes best

unfortunately, just because mine likes "brand x", doesn't mean that yours will too...I guess if it did, there would only be the need for that one brand

after I break in a new gun with a couple hundred rounds of CCI Minimags, and I know it functions 100%, I usually start my quest for best ammo for that gun with the standard of readily available ammo...CCI SV

The internals on mine has some Ruger parts but lots has been changed (9" TacSol barrel too) so will it be meaningful for yours? IDK, probably not. I also haven't tested all the ammo on the shelf, but this is what I have so far. As already stated, each has it's own personality and ammo needs to be tested.

CCI Mini-Mags run fine, unk' accuracy.

Federal Auto-Match runs fine, unk' accuracy (edit: correction, undocumented accuracy, but the accuracy was acceptable and I'm a stickler), my competition load because I have so many of them. I've read where many run them down on other forums, but are they armchair commandos or have actual experience? I've never even had a misfire with them.

Federal Champion run fine w/exc' accuracy. So far my best accuracy, 3/8 - 1/2" groups at 45 yards.

Fed' Target run fine but groups are just too large 1" - 1 1/4" @ 45 yards.
