Thanks for taking the time to weigh in.
I’m running a VQ Summit with a TacSol SBX barrel (10" + 6" for shroud) and a TacSol Axiom suppressor. My go-to ammo has been CCI Quiet Segmented HPs for taking care of tree rats.
I love the rifle, but I just can’t get the accuracy I want from the CCI Quiet Segmented HPs, even after plenty of tinkering. Inside 25 yards, it’s passable—but beyond that, things get hairy.
I’m considering trying the new CCI Suppressor Max .22LR (also segmented HPs) and hoping that the heavier bullet and higher velocity might tighten things up a bit.
There’s not much real-world feedback out there yet—anyone have experience with this new ammo?
