Found this ammo at bi-mart on sale $6.99. I could not find it listed on the CCi web site. No velocity info on the box label. Just 40grain round nose. Notice the N head stamp. Posted here just for conversation.

CCI must be looking to get rid of their bad ammo. Wonder why they put it in plastic and not cardboard. It would have been funnier if it was uppercut repackaged. They seemed to have killed that faster than the copper rounds.
Weird. With an N headstamp im wondering if it's contract ammo like national cart is making 22? In one way that's good, if this is fresh off a new setup it's more distributed production.

This OEM CCI is product number 956TA
The CCI AR Tactical is product number 956 with a plated bullet at 1200 fps.
I think the CCI Select was product number 45, with a 40 gr lead bullet at 1200 fps, I think it was discontinued a few years ago.
(At least it's not in the 2022, 2023, or 2024 CCI Catalog) It was in the 2018 catalog.
