Interesting offering. It's a good looking rifle too. I suspect it will be a hit with the walking rifle/hunting crowd if the accuracy holds. ( Not so much with the target shooters. ) It's good that the carbon is not a tube but actually attached to the sleeve IMHO. That said, I almost choked when the CZ rep said the gun weighed 1 kilo. You'd think a rep that is doing an interview would have read up a bit first.

CZ's have always been known for their accuracy. Will these barrels deliver? I do have to wonder. Are they just wrapping something like a tried and true American barrel in carbon or is this an entirely new venture into the unknown /unproven for them. I'm looking forward to some real reviews.

The stock is polymer with a soft touch coating & the match action is what they already have in production.

I understand that the carbon wrapped barrel is a premium component.

From the JMS Sporting link it showed "pay in 3 installments of 665 (British pounds)" that's 1995 pounds total. Converted to American $ that comes out to $2483... wowza
