Butler Creek folding stock mods

Ive had a BC folding stock put up for a few years and thinking about putting it use, to me it seems kind of flimsy and was curious if anyone had tried to stiffen one up somehow, or done any other mods, pics would be cool.

Smaller diameter stiffeners like carbon fiber kite rods might work even better than arrow shafts, same good idea though. I’ve used 0.220” thick-walled graphite rods for similar applications in other flexy stocks where they worked great. I used a good quality epoxy to attach the rods in grooves I cut into the bottoms on the inside of the stocks. JB Weld worked great.
