Purchased from used gun store for $600 about 2 years ago. Seemed to be as accurate as my dad's old JM Marlin 60.
Had barrel threaded, and then had the weaver rail modified slightly to fit the 3-slot adapter of a UTG Leapers Over-Bore mount (yes, I know people look down on UTG users, but its actually quite a nice bipod.) And a TK mag release , charging handle, and mag base plates. Holosun 507comp

The trigger is good enough, it's pretty light to me. Comes in at around 3.3-3.5 lbs according to my tester. Any lower than that and I find triggers feel weirdly light.

An interesting look, that's for sure. I like the laminated stock.

I'm always leery of an action with an exposed, automatically reciprocating bolt/slide that is pokin' right at my eyeball or thereabouts when I shoot it.

Then again, I'm not to cozy with hand placement on my Serbu Shorty, but I shoot it..... (gulp)

A buddy of mine had one of those carbines,,,
It was in a soft case in his trunk,,,
When he was rear-ended.

The carbine snapped in two right behind the grip,,,
The other driver's insurance company bought him a new carbine.

He contacted Browning to see if it could be fixed,,,
They told him it was unrepairable.

He was going to try to find a smith to weld it back together,,,
I don't know if he ever succeeded in that quest.

It was a shame as it was a very precise 50 yard shooter.

I have tons of fun with mine. They're primarily steel challenge shooters. Just for grins I SBR'd one of them and threaded it for a suppressor. As for looks, they're either loved or hated, not much in between. I do get the heebie jeebies when looking at that extended charging handle on yours. Looks mighty close to knocking on your cheekbone :LOL:

There's one on Gunbroker, and one at auction with Meares Property Advisors, Inc for their Labor Day Weekend sale, both are heavy barrel target models.
