While no B14 to compare to, my BMR Carbon shoots almost as well as my CZ @1 24". If I was a hunter, or shot off-hand on a regular basis, the BMR would likely be my first choice most of the time. At 6 lb 7 oz including the Vortex Crossfire 4-18x44 AO scope, it has to be considered a featherweight. The Carbon barrel does not appear to be any compromise on accuracy, and is an upgrade in my opinion.
As others have noted, 'Your Mileage May Vary'. The BMR (Carbon) is hard to ignore in a class of rimfires rifles costing under $725/retail. Yes, it might be a "squirrel gun", but a very good squirrel gun and reasonable competition piece.
