Benchrest Stock for CZ 457?

I have been looking for a true benchrest stock for a CA 457 and found none.. Does any body know who may manufacture?

By benchrest stock I mean the fore end and the butt stock are parallel...

Probably not true benchrest but the KRG Bravo with flat bag rider is close
IMO realistically the most accessible option for most people - I did the following with a Tikka T1X, same can be done with a 457:

Heavy ARCA rail to further stabilize the forend in a rest by weighing it down and further flattening it.
Grip weight - insert
Buttstock weight - insert
2 heavy buttstock spacers.
Bag rider

All items PnP from KRG - no skills needed, just money :D

The rifle weighs 14.2 lbs. - with a Nightforce PBR, 457 with a bull barrel would weigh another pound PLUS.

I also robbed my T3X Tac A1 of the Bixn' Andy trigger set to 5 oz, and this very well may be my most accurate rifle right now - more accurately the rifle I'm most accurate with - imo strictly because of its weight/stability.

I'm sure you can get one, the question is do you or will you pay the price for one?

Go to and email or cal Don Stith of Don Stith bench rest stocks. He has a web page.

You will still have to inlet the action yourself or pay a local smith or wood worker to inlet it for you.

The guy I bought my "new to me" CZ457 Varmint MTR went the frugal route of a br stock by a modified red/gray Boyd's AT-One stock with a piece of wood covered with ant-friction tape fitted to the bottom and an aluminum piece attached to the forearm also covered with a thick anti-friction tape. It doesn't look the prettiest but it sure served the purpose when we test fired it from a custom rest. I did put the barreled action into a nos CZ Varmint AT-One stock but kept the other just in case.

Just use a F class bipod such as a Sinclair or Tier 1. All the stability of a Bench rest at a fraction of the weight. I have a $$$ rest that weighs 30 pounds that I rarely drag out of the shop these days. I just grab t5he Sinclair instead
