It was great until the save was blown, but a walkoff in the tenth by a rookie makes it become another great memory of Cardinal History:bthumb:
??? Wong was the lead-off batter in the bottom of the ninth. Great stuff though, especially when Duffy scored from second due to the bad pitch in the top half of the ninth. Ya gotta give him credit for good heads up base running. I wouldn't mind seeing St. Louis go all the way this year for no other reason than when I was a kid my Little League team was the Cards.

Your right:bthumb: Brain Fart on my part :p

For those who may not know I have to buy the major league package to watch the Cardinals as I am in the KC Royals market. For the last 4 years I have heard the locals and folks I work with belly ache about the Royals, they hate my Cardinals because they are at least a contender year after year. And of course the 1985 I-70 World Series, I still get ****ed when I think about that, if the tarp had not got Vince Coleman the Royals would still be looking for their FIRST World Series win:bthumb: if another I-70 World Series happens and the Cards loose I may curl up in a corner and cry:p

I only listen to baseball on the radio. It reminds me of when I was a kid & would listen to the ball game with the Old Man while we were on the boat. It takes a good commentator though. I got spoiled with Ernie Harwell as a kid.

Yeah, I remember Dizzy Dean announcing the games and also Pee Wee Reese.
