Doesn’t seem to get a lot of love here but I really like this stock on my customized 10/22 For the money it’s crazy good IMHO I wonder why KRG cannot include basic features like adjustable LOP and Comb as standard for what they charge?? I might have gone that route if they did.

I think they are really nice looking and feel great but I was disappointed with mine. I put one on an MLR22 that shot "good enough for me" with the factory stock and a cheap Simmons rimfire scope. I would consistently get 1" groups at 40 yards from a bench, which for me was just fine. I am a plinker and don't shoot in any competitions. I bought the Archangel stock and fitted to to my MLR thinking it would help shooting from the bench and offhand. I was more curious than anything else. I was surprised to see that I shot that rifle better with the factory stock! I guess in my case simpler was better.
I still think they look really sharp though.

I bought one ( in Blue) a few years back just before I got got out of 10/22's and into bolt actions. It really is a nice stock. Excellent ergonomics , excellent adjustability. good solid fit. I also got the CDS rubber tape upgrade for mine which makes the stock even better. That said, this thread reminds me that mine is sitting in the corner unused these days so watch the classifieds.

I don't remember where I got mine as I'm 'out of 10/22 mod game" for some time now. That said, I just googled 10/22 extended bolt release.

There may be more. Also, while I have not done so myself, my bet is that if you searched the same words here at RFC, you would find discussion /recommendations on this mod. There is nothing in the 10/22 world that hasn't been covered here over the years.

Not sure if my take on this is correct but any non-rear tang arrangement is way less desirable as you cannot easily change or even identify the amount of tension at the rear. Most of us with two screws on the action play with that tension and find that there is an accuracy difference/preference. To say that it is tight might mean its in a bind, not a positive!

did you use the original trigger system on this stock or is there another one that you use?
