Has anyone out there had any experience with the Fiocchi SM 320 Super Match? I know, I know, "results may vary" but just in terms of relative impressions vs. other common ammo. I have no experience with this ammo and would like some impressions from anyone willing to share. Thanks.

You need to check where the Fiocchi ammunition is manufactured. If the box is marked made in the USA, be wary of it as it is not made by Fiocchi, it is re-branded Federal or CCI (I've heard it both ways). I have shot some made in the USA through my Walthers and Anschutz rifles and the stuff is poor to say the best. Most of this is in blue boxes. Fiocchi made in Italy is usually pretty good but not quite good enough to compete with mid-level English or other European mid-level target ammunition in the same price range. On the other hand, your rifles/pistols may love the blue box Fiocchi ammunition so the only way you will ever know is to try them in your own firearms. By the way , the names of the Fiocchi designation "320" and others starting with "3", according to one source, denotes the velocity in meters per second. I think that there are 3 "made in Italy" types with a 3-digit name starting with "3" and each with a different velocity. I don't have a meters-to-feet conversion table so just take it for what it is worth.

I like both 300 and 320 as it typically shoots very well in many of my rifles. I think Wahoo is correct though in that it doesn't shoot better than some cheaper priced ammunition. Aside from that I have had great luck with Fiocchi SSHP for hunting and it is my go to squirrel ammo and CF ammo is also very good.
