Ran into a stainless heavy barrel 22lr with the threaded barrel at the local gunshop slightly used for a good deal and thought it would make a good cheap farm/truck gun for a suppressor. The black plastic stock isn’t my cup of tea and I’m not seeing a lot of options. Does anyone make a walnut/wood stock for these or hunting style laminated stock? I see Boyd’s has a few but don’t see any others.

I think that's your answer.
The RAR's come with 3 different sizes of barrel diameter, you'd need to know that to avoid fitting a thicker barrel in a smaller barrel channel. Which is a PITA project.
