Are there any other companies out there making alternative magazine options for the Savage Mark II's? Specifically for the .22LR models.

I have a TRR-SR, I'd love the look of a straight 10 round mag, but maybe that's not even possible due to how the bullets get fed to the chamber? I just don't like that semi-banana clip look to the factory 10 round, so I've only bought the 5's.

The 93R17 models are more what I'd like the look of, again maybe this isn't even possible...

NNYRebel13....

I feel for ya brother...... just about every store in the nation is "out" of anything I want for any of my firearms. Looking for many styles of 10 rd bags before the curtain comes down on us in April. NOTHING.....but absolutely NOTHING is available from ANYONE on ANY brand name of gun. I must have tried 2 dozen suppliers...all are out of 10 rd Colt Cadet, Beretta Neos, Savage MKII, Saiga 5.45x39, Tapco 5.45x39....etc.

Finally found JoeBob's Outfitters with some Savage mags.

Oh..and backorders not allowed.

Nice huh?....can't buy *now* ( availability),...and can't buy ~60 days from now (legality).

10 rd mag

To answer your original question, I havent see anyone who makes a straight 10 rd mag for the mark ii. I also don't care for the banana style mag but I broke down and bought one since reloading after 5 rounds gets old! I picked up a 10 rd mag at Dicks Sporting Goods for $22. That's $4 more than what savage sells it for online but then again I didn't pay shipping. Good luck!

savage magazines

I am calling Savage as I sit here. There is NO way that anyone from that huge factory, can tell me that they do not have any magazines. This is getting past frustration. They have no problem jacking up prices, or withholding the magazines to jack up the prices. This has got to stop, and a letter is going to Savage today.

I am finding EVERY supplier for ANYTHING gun related is very much out-of-stock....sometimes pretty severely. Can't find anything I need in a nation-wide search for almost every gun part or piece I need for a variety of guns......

This is not a "Savage-only"...problem.

If you want mags, did you try JoeBobs Outiftters?...just ordered a few a couple of days ago--> http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/Search_a/241.htm?q=savage+magazines&Submit.x=15&Submit.y=27
