My recent research indicates they are run by the same party. Lots of poor reviews and some other names associated with them, too.

 

I bought a R7 , scope , and about 7 tins of pellets from Pyramid a few months ago. Part of the order was shipped from Pyramid in Ohio, and part shipped from Airgun Depot in Az.

 

never had a problem with pyramyd air products fine and shipped on time was just curious.

I recently ordered a few times from P-Air - Shipping was great and packaging was outstanding.

 

Ditto. No bad experiences after buying several air rifles and pellets over the last 3 years.

 

Ordered from Pyramyd and received poor customer service. Was supposed to have received silhouette target. When I inquired about lateness of order. The associate started splitter the order to get ship the optics without the airgun. The free bonus disappeared. Airgun pending , Pellets B/O. When I placed the order I had verbal confirmation that all items were in stock when I place my order. Came as several separate deliveries.

 

I like both companies.

I have done business with both companies for many years and have been happy with the products and the service.

 

Bought a Umarex Origin from Airgun Depot. Good price and no surprises. I was a little worried about some of the reviews after I ordered but I searched and found a lot of positive reviews.

 

I to have been satisfied with both.. But AG of AZ is whom I prefer to do business with.

 

Ordered several thing form Pyramyd, I just ordered Hatsan 130s 30 Cal the other day and it was shipped next business day, haven't had any trouble with these people.

 

Customer appreciation program is good and pellets are impeccably packed :bthumb:

 

After seeing so many negative reviews, I was reluctant to order anything from Pyramyd Air but was pleasantly surprised with the way a recent order was handled.

I will likely order from them again. Items were fairly priced, shipped quickly, and very well packed.

I own a HW30 and a HW50 S both bought from Airguns of AZ. the last 5 years.
I've had no issues with Airguns of Arizona that were not favorable.

My last order (HW50 S) had a bad scope which would not respond to adjustments.
I contacted them and, IIRC, after an initial refusal on their part to believe me,
agreed to send a new replacement scope. Also a return label for the bad one.

They included a 'free' (slightly dented) tin of Exact .177 pellets with the new scope
but I believe that I talked them into that freebee.

About how they would behave now-a-days I can not speak.

 

I bought a Umarex strike point pistol from Pyramid Air. Any relation ship between where the pellet went and where it was aimed was a coincidence. My son, who was a shooting instructor for his SO explorer group tried it could not get it to go. Called Pyramid Air they said send it back and we will replace it. Sent another one, same issue. Right now it is a $ 60 club.

I had one buy go wrong, didn't notice the problem until I had the item for two months. Wrote a negative review for the item and got an email notifying me they had credited me with $40 dollars on account which is more than the item cost with apportioned shipping. This was a day ago. I'm pretty happy with PA.

I've made many purchases from both but like PA better. They have always taken care of any issues. I believe Utah Air is also connected to them. I ordered a gun from PA and it came from Utah Air.

 

They are somewhat local to me and have bought a lot of pellets from them as well as some misc parts. Never had an issue and as mentioned you are not getting damaged pellets the way they package them. Their offerings are pretty broad so their are lots of choices.

The issue with reviews is most people that get what they expect and are satisfied are largely silent as things went as planned. The people that have an issue tend to bash the companies online before ever giving them a chance to rectify the situation.

Also this last year has been a nightmare for companies getting products, parts and ammo. People need to take that into consideration that the supply chain is all messed up.
