Here's a 69A I refinished this winter. It wears a Baby Redfield 4x. The target was at 50 yards with near zero wind.

That’s a sharp-looking 69A—really clean work on the refinish, and that Baby Redfield just completes the setup. The walnut has some beautiful character to it, and it’s nice to see rifles like this kept alive and accurate.

Good choice with the CCI Standard, too—hard to beat for consistent groups at 50 yards. Scope/rifle balance looks spot on. Curious to know what finish you used on the stock—looks smooth without being overly glossy.

CCi usually does an adequate job but I usually will run a better ammo though to see what it is capable of. The finish is hand rubbed Tru Oil. Thanks
