Hi guys. I just got my first contender frame and would like to use it as a pistol for squirrels. Is a 10" bull barrel a viable option for up to 50 yards, or would it be too short. Thanks for any info

My Contender pistol has a 10" .22lr Match barrel with an old Simmons 2X6 pistol scope. Been on a 10/22 obsession for a while, but it will shoot tiny groups at 25 yards with SK fodder from the bench. For squirrels at 50 yards, the pistol is certainly up to the task ...... if you can hold it steady! :t
