With the variability in 17HMR? ammunition, how could one ever truly determine if one rifle is more accurate than another? I think you have to approach shooting 17 HMR with an understanding and a " certain frame of mind ". JMHO.

 

Out of the two, i would pick the Savage. Imho, they have better barrels.
