Hiya Folks
Been a minute since I've been on RFC
Inherited a 1968 model year 10/22 from an even older friend that I am wanting to install a picatinny rail to
In my search for a rail I encountered one that comes with two sets of socket head cap screws of differing thread diameters. (most I see only have one set)
This leads me to think there may be different thread sizes depending on when the rifle was made. Is this an issue?
Also, I have seen differing screw head designs. (pan head, socket head, and counter sink head) Is one style preferable?
Thx
