Zee-row

This will be a smaller accuracy list than most......I think. To get on it at the lowest level you must shoot 4 groups of 5 shots.

If two of those groups are smaller than .100" you are placed on the 2 ZEE-ROW

If three of those groups are smaller than .100 you are placed on the 3 ZEE-ROW

If four of those groups are smaller than .100 you placed on the 4 ZEE-ROW

Pretty easy huh? As usual you will shoot 1 scoring shot for each group and those scoring shots will be away from any group being measured. A scoring shot starying within 1" of the group will be consider a flyer and part of that group. All targets will be shot at a minimum of 25 yards and ONLY SuperStock rifles already posted in the SuperStock forum are eligible. So if you want to have your name posted be sure that you have posted your rifle first in the forum.

Scroll down as there be a page for 2 ZEE, a page for 3 Zee and a page for 4 ZEE

A picture of the target and the rifle are required to post your name on the list.

Good luck.

With much fanfare it is my pleasure to put Ricochet as the first name on the 3 ZEE page. There was never a doubt in my mind that his name would be entered quickly and barring some unknown factor I always felt he would be the first to make any of these three pages.

Ricochet, in a little over one year have come from a long struggle just to make Sawdust's 1/4" Club to having his name on every list a number of times. He has also been the soul of SuperStock. His constant cheerleading has encouraged others to follow the path that he cleared. Thanks my friend:bthumb:

YeeeHaaaaaw, Great shooting Rico!

Have to agree with you Vincent , Rico's spirit is definitely a part of SuperStock and gives encouragement to all of us.

But part of the soul of SuperStock is you Vincent, you and Rico are mentors to allot of us, especially me.

When you get to feeling better I expect we will see your name up there to, or at least I hope so.

Great game as it will be the ultimate goal of mine to join this list. :D

okay all,

about a year ago i didn't even own a caliper, let alone being capable of
shooting anything that didn't resemble a "pattern".

"match ammo"?? what was that?? LOL,

sawdust got his game started with his posted pic of his qualifiers.

WOW !!, is all i could say and think about. did a lot of reading and learned how NOT to stone a hammer and sear set, for one thing. still have them as a reminder of my ignorance, ha ha, and a BIIIG pile of empty boxes, ha ha.

a lot of people here have been a tremendous help and inspiration. bit by bit
groups started to shrink. only had one bbl at the time, a GM 20"SS sporter.

i have always been a tinkerer and enjoy doing that sort of thing, so it was quite natural to get into these factory guns and make them shoot better.
well, at 25 yds anyway,

anyway, just wanted to thank all of you that helped to get me where i am at.

rico....trying not to be too mushy, LOL,

Gosh

durn it all, people, LOL,

but, i dont consider myself a better shooter than anyone else here,

BUT, i do have ONE advantage; my "oasis" where i can shoot anytime i'm
in the mood and the wind is down which is a bit iffy at times.

when i do a diff mod or tweak, which i'm always doing, and sometimes i go two steps backwards, but, i can shoot right away to test things out, where as
most of you have to head to a range to do your testing.

i'm not a "natural", but sometimes i get lucky and things work out right, LOL,
PLUS, i have the time to put into these guns and i enjoy it, and is more than a "hobby",

again, i wanna thank everyone here for the support and good words, which i dont think is found on the other forums here, and is very heart warming,

rico....

Rico,

You have really raised the bar for me, and that I'm thankful for. Heck just shot 1 group at 50 yards in the low .1xx's. That is fantastic for me.

Don't think you have a big advantage over most here. I'm like you and can step out and shoot when I like weather permitting. But all of us get to learn from all your experimenting you do.

Going to catch up to you buddy one day and we'll rack em up and talk about the Z-rows we have shot. The way I shoot just might be a year or two, LOL.

You and Vincent have gave allot to SS and the rest of us have gained allot from it. Just like you a year ago I thought match ammo was Federal 510's, LOL. Never dreamed of paying over $2.00 for a box of shells. Didn't even know I could tweak a rifle to shoot as good as I can ow, which still needs allot more improvement.

Congrats again!, you have come along way and have worked hard to get there.:bthumb:

a big congrats to you Rico very fine shooting:bthumb: and while being humble is a good thing... you have to give credit where credit is due and you my friend know how to shoot :snipersmi you an Vincent both are a big part of super stock and the place wouldn't be the same with out either of you :D
cant even begin to tell you how much I have learn from both of you :D
earth

#16 ·
thanks for the nice words, rigger and earth and everyone else,

when i got back into rimmers after finding RFC, what i learned was from the SS
forum, mostly, as not too many people at the time were interested in taking
a factory gun and making it shoot better, was easier to slap a new bbl on it.
how true, as i dont own any factory "tent pegs",

SOooooo, in return, i like to share whatever i have learned thru my own
experiences that worked and even the ones that didn't so no one else would make the same mistake. ( my digi-cam was a very worth-while investment ),
and hope someone can benefit from my larnin' here, LOL,

tell you all what, tho', AM still larnin' LOL,

and yes, vincent has been the mainstay here and owe a lot to him, actually,
everyone here has something to share. just a few thoughts from an ole' phart

rico....larnin' everyday....

#17 ·
Shoot Rico, I have learned a lot from all you ole pharts:) I use to think that CCI Blazer was top of the line great ammo....it was the cheapest at Fleet Farm back then for about $7.99 a brick and when your on mowing wages it's a bargain:t RFC and SuperStock has opened a whole new can of worms.

#18 ·
well all,

am gonna take another run at the "ZERO" game. found a prob with the stock
i was using. was touching here - n - there and may have been giving me "bad vibes", LOL, i think this stock believes it is still part of the tree and keeps growing. could be the weather?? making the stock xpand a bit ??

another reason; havent given up on the RWS subs yet. just put out some new targets so am ready to try for a coupla "zeros", sure is hot, LOL, hope my shooting is the same, ha ha ha,

rico....

well, another 2-ZEER,

Image

but wasnt worth the bother to mark up the target, but rough figgering came out to 2 .0XX's. should have "snuggeled" up a bit. but i notice that this ammo is less likely to be in-consistent as the SK + depending on the stock set-up. but the stock swap did help a lot.

will be trying again another day for # 4, the "impossible" which makes me wanna try for it all the more, LOL,

should be trying this ammo out to 50 yds and see what it will do. ummmm, good idea, rico,

rico....needs to walk 2X as far, LOL,

#24 ·
Guess I will have to try them , look pretty good to me . But I think you may be right, the 510's and the Eagles may be just as good for less dollars.

Will have to see how my 2 shoot them. May look like a smooth bore out of my 2, LOL.

You would think Remington and Winchester would have a bulk type ammo that shot pretty good.
