Nice to see this thread resurrected, some real fine looking rifles here!
Heres mine in its latest rendition. The latest addition is the 20" Apogee Bore Buddy barrel. It's still a green barrel but the first 100 rounds look very promising.

Check the diameter of your buffer tube to see if it might be the "commercial" type. If it is, you might be able to use any of the "commercial" size stocks that are available.

I can't believe I haven't posted a picture in this thread yet. Here's my 18" JP w/ 10x SWFA SS Scope on it. Dedicated Spikes lower with JP bolt catch and ALG trigger.

This is the most interesting AR22 I have.

-Dedicated lower
-Geissele S3G trigger
-NBS AR-9 upper with CMMG bolt modified to fit the KRISS barrel adapter and 20" SS Ruger 10/22 bull barrel
-BCA 12" (or 12.5") handguard
-Burris Fullfield E1 4.4-14 in a aero mount
-A2 stock and a NYS compliant grip.
-KRISS magazines upgraded with BDM SS feed lips

Currently sighted in for Aquila Super Extra 40gr. Rarely misses a beat and Its a good shooting setup... (y)

A 10/22 barrel you say? I hit Quote and was going to suggest you give us the details but above is what came up in the quote. Not sure why it's not displaying. I think it's great you got this together. I can't wait to get that whistlepig 10/22 barrel and try the same.

How'd you get a Kriss barrel adapter? I'd love to put a nice 10/22 barrel in an AR upper, so many better options that way.

You have to call and order it. I posted a little bit about getting the adapter in a thread recently... 'budget build' or something like that.

You'll need the adapter, key and set screws and some file time. Not too hard.

I also documented the process in another thread...I'll see if I can grab a link...

I think I already posted this, but here it goes again, anyway. Nordic Components upper on a mil spec Spike's Tactical lower. I also changed the buttstock (don't remember the brand), added a flash hider for looks, and upgraded the trigger to a Timney Calvin Elite. It has been extremely reliable, except for one issue I had with a couple of magazines. It has been 100% reliable after fixing the magazines.

Freshly assembled....the goal if this one was to hit 7.5# or less, with scope magazine and whatever accessories wanted... this case just a few mlok gripping inserts and a mlok QD mount. Also optics are limited to 4x32.

So this build uses:
-standard lower
-RTB slickside upper (still has the deflector)
-15" BCA handguard
-22" acculite 10/22 barrel
-PSA (CMMG) bolt modified to fit the KRISS Ruger barrel adapter
-A1 stock
-amazon special aluminum rings..monstrum, I think
-1980's vintage house brand 'galaxy', Japanese made 4x scope.

Like Dave said...just a little filework to fit the rails to the KRISS adapter. I also opened up the extractor cut a little bit. I've put 13 rnds through it in the backyard...gonna wring it out this weekend to see if there's anything else I need to do.
It looks deceiving but it is light and comes up to shoulder very nicely.

A Seekins upper and lower, Seekins short throw safety [like it so much Ive put them on all my AR lowers], Taccom barrel/bcg, bore buddy weight, plug and buffer, usually has a Vortex strikefire red/green dot sight. I use black dog steel lip mags. Almost forgot it has a Timney Impact trigger now.

My M16A2 RRA clone. Yes this "was" a RRA Nation Match upper. I removed the barrel and had it reprofiled to a government profile. It has a geissele 2 stage trigger and match sights and weighs less that 7.5 lbs with sling and empty magazine to make it legal for CMP sporter rifle matches. Will shoot 3/4 inch groups with Wolf match and Eley Match ammo.

My Steel Challenge gun is a Spikes upper and lower with a JP ultra lite barrel and trigger. Gun weighs around 4lbs and is fast as fook
