Have you noticed how our RWS, Lapua and SK ammunitions have gone to OUT OF STOCK over the past couple of years? Are they in some secret place I do not know about? In particular RWS Special Match, SK Pistol Match Special, SK Biathlon Sport?

There may be more Norma and less RWS being shipped.

Part of the reason for RWS being in shorter supply could be due to Beretta wanting to increase Norma's presence in North America. Beretta said they did want to increase Norma in the U.S.A. There seems to be plenty of Norma Tac-22 available which is made in the same Furth Germany factory as RWS.

Whidden Gunworks has some Lapua and SK in stock. I have bought from them before and will again when I need to.

SK is available at two places that have been shared in this thread. I bet there is even more out there. Try Ammoseek if you don't like the places shared in this thread for some reason. Unless you have a really nice LGS, you probably won't find it locally so ordering online is your best bet.

Here's what ammoseek is showing today:

Ammoseek didn't show much for RWS or Lapua. But SK seems to be fairly available at this time. Not sure why Whidden doesn't show on Ammoseek, but they had multiple lots available the other day when I looked. And they're good to go to do business with.

It seems like Eley is the most consistently available high end 22lr ammo. I just got a box of Tenex, Match and Semi-auto precision. Mainly because I bought some factory ARA targets from Killough and it seemed silly to spend $15 for delivery on a $20 dollar order. I won't shoot any of it for quite awhile because I'm a greenhouse propagation grower and it's go time right now. So that means even if a lot tests great it'll be irreplaceable. Very hard to lot test with a box or two and then stock up even if you test right after you receive the order.

Speaking of Ammoseek, I was just looking at some Lapua availability. This is an edited screen shot:

I have purchased from Midsouth Shooters before and did not think they elevated their prices; however, it look like now they are definitely making money due to the short supply of Lapua. I have never purchased from Ammo lab or Dirty Bird, but it looks like with these prices I better get used to shooting different levels of ammo. Cheaper to shoot .223 but tougher to clean. Oh well. Such is life.
