Can't recall if I posted this here already or not:

Got this over a year ago, image was taken the day I got it. Been carrying and using it daily for a year now, slips right into the front coin pocket of jeans.

John Lloyd Baby Bullet type single blade trapper in 52100 steel.

Every day combo, but I switch it up from time to time. Drop point hunter in 1084 & walnut by my good bud Daniel Combs (DanCo on BF), lightly customized Kershaw Skyline with self made low rider clip and brass back spacers, and a '45-'55 Hammer Brand serpentine jack shell handle.

My alternative choices are my fixed blade rigging knife in 154CM and curly teak by Daniel Fairly Knives, a CRKT M-16 (aus-8) and a variety of slip joints.

I'm suprised at how many people have ten or more "EDC" knives.
For me it's this little GEC 25.

Yea,,,, I have a few other little single blade pocket knives that I rotate in once in a while, and some bigger/better folders and fixed blades that go with me hunting, but for "Every Day Carry" this is the one that lives in the bowl on my dresser.

I carry 4 knives daily, I am a knife nutt.
1 Slipjoint , 1 lockback , 1 Framelock , one 3" fixed blade.

3 of those knives have been in my pockets for the past 3 years.

I will admit , the Lloyd Slipjoint and the 3" fixed blades are the ones that get used everyday. So I have 2 for Every Day Carry , and 2 for Every Day Using.

:D

About the only time I'm not carrying some kind of knife is when I'm flying. I'm a bit of a "knife nut" do I have a whole box full of pocket knives to EDC but my most common companions are one of these:

Case Sway Back Jack
Kershaw Composite Leek
Spyderco Delica
Victorinox Alox Cadet

Not a daily carry, but . . .

. . . the old Gerber 'Skookum' dual blade sure does make for a great camp kitchen knife. :t It has a very slim profile, slightly less than a 1/4" thick so when coupled with a thin nylon sheath, is hardly noticed at all.

When compared to a standard 'camper' pattern (Ulster BSA in case you were interested :)), the entire knife and sheath is thinner than the other alone.

The knife itself is about the same size as the Camper (<4") and has a pair of very thin blades which are great for slicing, going through many products like a razor. One side of the larger blade is scalloped so that the smaller blade 'nests' inside the cavity. Like I said, its a thin profile.

Long discontinued but not really rare, this is a handy kitchen knife, in camp or in home for that matter.

I rotate alot, but always carry a locking knife with clip in right pocket, and a tradional folder in my left.

The main one's I carry in right pocket are... Chris Reeve(CRK) small or large micarta inlay Sebenza, a small regular BG-42 Sebenza, Spyderco Carbon Fiber BG-42 Military, Spyderco Para 2(brown G-10 with S35V), Foilage green drop point UKPK Spyderco, or a Spyderco Sage 1.

Left pocket...Kerry Hampton KHnutbuster, Rick Menefee Swayback, Case yellow derlin Copperlock with CV steel(small or large), or a SAK Alox Cadet.

If I carry a sheathed knife its either a Bob Dozier, Gene Ingram, David Mosier, Busse, Wayne Hendrix or a Sean O'Hare.

I believe I have posted to this thread before. Maybe a few times. Over at Bladeforums in the "Traditional" section there is a similar thread that is closing in on 800 pages long. Asking a knife knut what their EDC is will bring different and maybe multiple answers depending on what day you receive the answer.

My favorite everyday knife is this amber bone Case mini copperhead:

However, my everyday carry changes often. It is rare that I carry the same knife every day for a whole week.

For example, here is a couple of favorites from the stag rancher series that I will carry at some point during the month:
