However, one comes with the complete kit. One did not come with the abbreviated kit I bought. Volquartsen does not list a MK IV disconnector separately.
My MK III with a full kit (including disconnector) feels smoother than my MK IV with the abbreviated kit. I don't know that's the difference as it's a MK III vs a MK IV, metal frame vs polymer frame,...
It does seem strange. However, you could try moving the one from your MKIII into the MKIV and see if it works. Then you'll know for sure before you buy another one.
My 1st Volquartsen kit did not come with a disconnector, after the install I could not get the upgrade to work. Contacted Volquartsen, they said the problem is the stock disconnetor and they send me a one of theirs and that solved the problem. I've done five upgrades since and they all came with the disconnector.
If installing in a 22/45 use the thicker spacer for the safety.
