Tony Mele Stocks

Thought you guys would like to know a tremendous 10/22 stock maker who makes some of the best 10/22 stocks I have seen. Tony Mele is a perfectionist. His finish is the best I have seen. I will show you a few examples of his work of stocks I have. He has several color laminates to choose from.

IL1022, I gave Mr. Mele a call just now. He is currently unavailable. Is the phone number a landline or a cellphone? Told myself that my 1st 1022 would be my last but looking at your posts makes me want to build another one, lol! Frankly, I was about to order a stainless CZ 455 last night but another custom 1022 keeps on calling my name, lol again!

P.S, Left him a message though.

I am still waiting for Tony to get back to me. Left a message 2x yesterday. I am wanting to buy on of his stocks but it is advertised as blemished but as to what degree, I have no idea. I don't like marks on my wares and would rather pay a higher price for as long as it is in A1 condition :t

Yes, they do, IL1022, but I want mine to be unique, hence sans cooling vents.

I still dunno what action I am going to put in. The Feddersen receiver is really great but a bit expensive. You know, I was one of the lucky ones who got one for free. The inside is like nickel plated, and paired with a KIDD scalloped bolt which I polished by putting liberal amounts Mother's Polishing Compound on a cotton cloth that I spread on a glass table (and rubbing the bolt back and forth, top to bottom, and each side) their mating is so fluid I can't help but smile everytime I pull the trigger :bthumb:

IL1022, the one with the green stock, is that a 16" barrel? Gracias.

When is this nightmare going to end:D I like green too, IL1022! Your builds are tastefully done, sir!

Oh, the ones he showed me were an evergreen-gray combo of some sort, and a burgundy-beige-light gray. I went for the latter :t Right now, I can sense it wanting to :dogrun: to Rick baby, its new master :D

Rock and roll! I am making a list of parts for it. I was planning of buying that Cabela Ruger Target model but I am really picky when it comes to finish, not that it's bad looking, but I know that in the long run I am going to modify it sooner or later. Besides, a stock like it deserves a custom receiver, the whole enchilada. Shall I go Kidd or Tacsol or Feddersen receiver? Oh, so many cool parts out there :crash:
