Howdy folks, and welcome to this week's Presidential edition of TWH!

"A free people ought not only to be armed, but disciplined; to which end a uniform and well-digested plan is requisite; and their safety and interest require that they should promote such manufactories as tend to render them independent of others for essential, particularly military, supplies."

I was uncharacteristically well-behaved last night! I stayed home! :)

Grats Rhody on the Bruins win, the filthy animals.
Thanks! We needed that, but these OT games are keeeling me!

Looking forward to another restful day before it's back to the grind Monday morning!

Just as an aside, good write up on PulseOx numbers and what they represent...

note 67% and lower

https://www.onhealth.com/content/1/normal_low_blood_oxygen_pulse_oximeter_levels
Good info for all to know, especially the signs and symptoms that indicate a low blood oxygen saturation. Hesitate too long when those signs appear, and it will not end well! Stay alert my friends!

Sorry about your friend Wook.

Did you visit Stan while there?

Carhartt and Ariat are a bit of a fashion statement in certain circles.
I have a lot of there t-shirts and even some nicer button/collared shirts. Their t-shirts match up perfectly with their collared shirts color wise.
Jeans and pants are 5-11 for the most part. I'm not one of those I want a bunch of pockets & look tactical types. The jeans are a bit stretchy, which comes in handy climb on/off equipment. No pulling up the pant, then moving. I had to laugh the other day because a guy on a job site had to stop to adjust pants before squatting which he complained about.

Cons of 5-11 is it ain't the cheapest but you get what you pay for. I have a shirt that is a bit dress/casual that quite nice & has thousands of little cooling holes. Bigger con is they have so many versions of pants it is had to get a starting point going. I have 2 pair of tactical pants that are very comfy, rest are jeans.
Carhartt is dressing up with my crowd. Flannel shirts, coat, stocking caps. Blue jeans are free style.

I've been wanting to buy a pair of 5-11's trousers to try out. Waiting on dropping a few more pounds first. Tactical pants should be worn on a tactical body. :D

In, didn't make the first page. Was informed earlier this morn that a longtime close friend had succumbed to the Wuhan virus Wednesday. We worked together at one point in the late 60's but became friends in the mid 60's and have remained so, speaking and trading emails at least a coupla times a month; many times, more frequently than that. Wonderful large framed always positive often hilariously funny person in spite of a number of tragedies and trials in his own life. Comfortable in his faith. He was 86.

Sorry for the loss of your friend, Wook. Can never have enough friends, and loosing one is hard.

Good morning to all. Bright and sunny here this morning and presently 30°F.

Mangy cat. Just because she was allowed to come inside when the snow got too deep for her she now thinks she is supposed to be inside. The wife had started to add a couple of worn out rags to a box to take for baling and the cat decided it belonged to her.

I see a healthy looking cat. No mange evident.

Boxes are natures cat traps. Leave one laying around and a cat will occupy it.

She want's tuna water.

I've a few pair of 5.11 pants that my MIL has bought me. Expensive, but good. I am way too cheap to buy $100 pants, so I get Magellan Jeans for less than $20/pair. For $80 I can tug on my belt many times. :D

Low 40s, lookin' like it might rain (what else is new about that..)

Dependent on the weather, it may be a good day to sip hot chocolate by the fire.

Ordered a new laptop (from H/P Custom) last night. This one is getting old.

Life in the great PNW :)

Well another one of my predictions came true. Years ago I bought a few pair of Carhartt jeans. A local outdoor store sold them and also a place up in Lake Placid. They were cheap enough, I think less than $50 a pair. I told my wife that some time in the future Carhartt will be flying off the shelves once the Beebs, starts wearing them. I don’t think it has any thing to do with Justin Beeber wearing them, but all of a sudden they are now becoming very fashioned. So now my wife can’t make fun of me anymore when I wear my Carhartts. Stock up gents before the hipsters start buying them and the local stores start increasing the price.

Holy carp.. just looked up my home's value while chatting with a friend that brought up the topic in their home town. In less than six years, it's almost doubled.

I never heard of 5-11 so I went on the website. Their jeans are $60. That’s not bad at all if they are as rugged as people say.
Hmmm, pair of 5-11 with a Hanks belt. Now that’s stylin’.
