My first try at stock modding. Tapco telescoping stock and pistol grip added to original wooden stock.

Very nice. It reminds me a lot of a an M50 Reising.

almost like that, waiting on the stock; have you mounted a red dot, and how does it cowittness with the iron sights?
I like the williams firesights (got em on my sks) but have a bsa red dot to to on this trainer/plinker.

Haven't tried a red dot, they don't kinda work with my eyes, the dot looks too slurred to be useful. I'm planning to buy a 1-4x scope to mount on it.

I think that looks so cool. I love that reciever and I think I talked myself into ordering one for my EVO set up...bet that would look great on it. Just gotta wait til I get that tax "rebate" check...lol

Oh MAN!

I have been wanting a "Scary" gun (read: AR15) for several months and want to get one BADLY before the november vote....

But I don't have and ain't likely to have the money to make it happen...

I DO have a stainless 10/22.

While a EVO stock would be the tits, I figure I just MIGHT be able to get a T6.

I have a a very nice (for what it cost) 4-12x50 scope and several sets of rings.

So I think my "scary" gun will be a 10/22 before very long.

Some really AWESOME guns in this thread. And I couldn't even see a lot of them!

even if you don't have the funds to "go all the way",, I'd go buy a stripped lower for around $100; if the worst case happens in Nov (maybe even with the McCain) parts will go thru the roof but lowers will really get $$$$, if not outright unavailable.
In the meantime, build up a good 10/22 to hone your skills on & you'll be just like the rest of us.

Every time you upgrade that thing, I like it that much more! Now it really qualifies as an ebr!:bthumb:

Add a front grip to the lower rail, and notice what an improvement you'll make with controlling steadiness and targeting!:bthumb:
