Not sure what you might have in mind, so I'll do a little show and tell.
This was my bought new 1985 Buck Mark, slab side barrel with basic black plastic grips.
I decided I would like nicer grips, so I looked at what Browning was selling, and bought some nice Target grips.
Although the factory barrel shoots fine, I wanted to change it up, so I added a Tactical Solutions barrel.
Finding it uncomfortably light now, I added a Tac-Sol rail with integrated rear sight, so I could mount an optic. I found a lightly used Ultra Dot 4, a nice dot sight. The added weight was welcome, made it more stable to hold off-hand.
I always hated the smallish stock trigger, so when TandemKross added one to their line, I installed that, having already done it to my much massaged Ruger Mk. III 22-45. I really like the feel of the trigger. I had done the Heggis flip some years earlier, and it worked well on mine, but some have not been so fortunate.
The results of tinkering:
I now have a Power Custom jig for stoning sears and hammers, so the Spring project is going to be installing a Hammer from Volquartsen and stoning the sear for a good match. The trigger isn't bad right now, just a little creepy.
It's a really nice pistol right out of the box, something I cannot say about the Mk. III, which took a bit of work to make it as comfortable and reliable as i wanted, having been spoiled by the 'Mark.
Merry Christmas to All.
